Matt Raub’s departure from Smosh. Been so long since I've seen him in a video, thought he had left a long time ago. Best of luck to him. It’s weird to think that in a few years or more different people are gonna be running smosh. Everyone eventually will leave as more join but I’m gonna stick to it to the very end.

I assume they make some decent profit from their merch line. Also, given their absolutely MASSIVE back catalogue of old videos, and Smosh fans habit of rewatching things, I assume their ad rates are decent, even if they aren't bringing in a ton of new views immediately on all new videos, they probably do okay and then the back catalogue picks …They really didn't seem like Smosh members, just people who are there. Monica as well as Syd & Olivia are no longer writers at Smosh. It really doesn't sit right with me that 3 female writers were let go from Smosh in a pretty short amount of time, for the longest time it's been really clear to me that Smosh is a boys club, but it's really disheartening to see them eliminating more females from their team.
